The Michigan Supreme Court’s amendments to MCR 2.003, issued Nov. 25, 2009 have been further amended in an order released today, Dec. 3, 2009.
In the Nov. 23 version, MCR 2.003 (C) read as follows:
Grounds. A judge is disqualified when the judge cannot impartially hera a case, including but not limited to instances in which:
Today’s amendment strikes the sentence following “Grounds.” and leaves the balance of (C) intact.
