Defendant’s disruptive behavior prompts Bay County judge to halt hearing

The Bay City Times is reporting:

A preliminary hearing for a man accused of assaulting his nephew with a pipe was abruptly halted after the defendant continued to speak despite a judge’s repeated warnings that he had to be quiet.

Steven J. Davidson accused authorities of “railroading” him as sheriff’s deputies escorted him past the bench where Bay County District Judge Timothy J. Kelly had heard about one hour of testimony Wednesday.
